Content shock in travel marketing
With the rise of content creation by many travel brands will come content shock, which is why many are already using social influencers to get their message across to a wider, more targeted audience.
With Instagram Stories recently having launched its Live feature, live streaming is definitely a hot trend this year. I can see, through my consulting business with hotels, restaurants or travel agencies, that indeed social media traffic is becoming harder to acquire, both within social media platforms and as referral traffic to brand websites.
